Seminar outline

Personnel and labor affairs work is wide-ranging, including recruitment, placement, education and training, payroll calculation, and planning and operation of personnel systems, and requires a wide range of knowledge and skills, but in venture companies and start-up companies, there are many cases where managers and small personnel personnel are responsible for these tasks.

In this course, students will systematically learn the "easiest basic knowledge" required for HR and labor affairs work in a three-part series of lectures by lawyers and labor and social security attorneys, and through case studies, students will acquire skills that are useful for practical work.

The themes of each of the three sessions are "Basic Knowledge of Employment Management ~ Let's grasp the flow from recruitment to retirement ~", "Introduction to Working Conditions Management ~Let's learn about employment rules and working conditions ~", and "Let's think based on cases of troubles that are likely to occur". Each session lasts 1.5 hours and includes exercises that lead to practical work through case studies, from basic knowledge input.

Please join us as an opportunity for personnel in charge of human resources to systematically learn about personnel and labor affairs, and as an opportunity for interaction between managers, HR personnel, lawyers, and labor and social security attorneys.

Until 2014, he worked at a law firm in Tokyo. After that, in conjunction with the opening of the Fukuoka City-Kitakyushu City Employment and Labor Consultation Center (FECC), a project of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare attached to the Fukuoka City Startup Cafe, he moved to the Fukuoka office as a branch manager, and then transferred to the current office in 2016. In addition to handling negotiations and litigation cases, we support a wide range of business-related legal affairs and compliance from listed companies ~ startups and freelancers in a wide variety of industries. In the seven years since its establishment, FECC has responded to more than 1,000 consultations from prospective entrepreneurs, startups, and freelancers. In addition, he is a member of the Corporate Compliance Evaluation Committee, a member of the Committee for Civil Intervention and Violence (Special Counselor of the Assault Center), and a training instructor on labor, compliance, anti-social response, contracts, intellectual property, etc. for companies and organizations.
